Veterinary Call Center Agent
Location: Ottawa, ON
Ottawa Veterinary Hospital is welcoming a Call Center Agent to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to work in our call center and assist with a large volume of calls.
This is not a remote position, you will be working on-site at our Ottawa Vet Hospital location.
Our Client Service Representatives are dedicated to ensuring that clients and patients experience top-notch customer service and excellent patient care. In this rewarding position, you will be the cornerstone of an outstanding experience for our clients. It can be challenging at times, but having a good team supporting you makes all the difference.
As the voice of Primary Care for VCA Canada in Eastern Ontario, the Call Center Agent sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer’s trust and confidence in our abilities. The Call Center Agent is the pivot around which the hospitals operate and is primarily responsible for:
Scheduling and confirming appointments.
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
Presenting and explaining fees.
Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
