Reporting to Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Dublin or Shannon, Ireland and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Capital Markets Department and it’s growth.Purpose of RoleResponsibility and management of a client servicing team responsible for delivery of cash management, monthly investor reporting, accounting, and administrative services to a portfolio of Aviation Structured Finance clientsKey Responsibilities

  • This position requires direct management of the following in respect of an allocated portfolio of clients:
  • Transaction and client relationship management including oversight, supervision and responsibility for the client management team involved
  • Managing and leading a team of 3-5 people
  • Implementation of all relevant policies and procedures and responsibility for ensuring team compliance with same
  • Implementation of suitable process and controls
  • Regular maintenance of client specific administrative and operational procedure documents
  • Ensuring high quality client service level is maintained by all team members, and that work is completed accurately within agreed timescales
  • Proactively manage deals by understanding clients’ needs and deal documents
  • Review of operative documents and implementation of suitable controls and processes, ensuring all tasks are appropriately managed
  • Overseeing and managing all relevant aspects of each transaction including but not limited to the related documentation and administrative tasks (such as the coordinating and running board meetings and ensuring compliance with local regulation) arising from same
  • All aspects of cash management
  • Review/preparation of all required SPV reporting (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) within required deadlines; in particular the mMonthly investor Rreporting on ABS transactions following strict application of the cash flow waterfall procedures and checklists
  • Review and distribution of mMonthly investor reports within strict deadlines
  • Oversight of the monthly Rceconciliation processes of servicer reports to bank accounts and Monthly Reports
  • Assist the Accounting team with the Ddevelopment of accounting policies
  • Ownership of the chart of accounts and trial balance with responsibility for ensuring all accounts are reconciled and open items cleared within agreed timelines
  • Responsibility for the preparation by the team of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including single entity and consolidated financial statements (to include account analyses) in accordance with IFRS (or other applicable accounting standards) within prescribed deadline
  • Review/preparation pre filing of client tax returns (i.e. Corporation tax, VAT and Payroll taxes)
  • Assist Accounting team in Co-ordination and managing the annual audit process for all clients, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduled
  • Annual budgetary process and variance reporting – working in close collaboration with the Servicer for each deal
  • Review/preparation of all regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland and filing on a timely basis
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, servicers, investors, rating agencies, legal counsels and others as appropriate
  • Monitoring client profitability and supporting change actions as required
  • Ensuring clients are billed in accordance with agreed terms
  • Ensuring achievement of all targets and KPIs as agreed with the directors
  • Monitoring team performance and provide necessary coaching & mentoring,
  • Managing probationary process and regular staff appraisal meetings for team
  • Ensure all inquiries both internal and external are dealt with promptly, and
  • Ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

Attributes/Technical Skills

  • Direct people management experience
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and client servicing skills
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Relevant Experience

  • At least 4 years post qualified experience, preferably in the corporate services industry or accounting practice
  • Financial services experience, ideally in structured finance and/or aircraft leasing

Education and Professional Qualification

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
