Job Opportunity: Ward Catering Assistant in Dublin 1 (7am-6pm, 3-4 Days/Week)Are you an experienced catering assistant looking for a fulfilling catering job in Dublin 1? We are searching for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team, assisting in the preparation and serving of patient meals, ensuring a hygienic environment, completing stock checks, and tackling any other tasks that may arise. • Job Title: Ward Catering Assistant
• Location: Dublin 1
• Shifts: 7am – 6pm, 3-4 days per week
• Rate of Pay: €15.90 per hours (double on Sundays and Bank Holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to patients, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and ward areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Wash, dry, and properly store kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes to uphold sanitation standards.
• Keep the kitchen pantry clean, organized, and well-stocked with essential ingredients and supplies.
• Properly dispose of waste materials, including food scraps and packaging, in accordance with waste management procedures.
• Conduct regular stock checks, record inventory levels, and notify supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist with various tasks as needed in a dynamic hospital environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient task completion.

What You Need to Join Our Team:

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment is desirable.
• Experience with texture-modified diets.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (Visa/Work permit if needed).
• References spanning the past 5 years of employment.
• Full-time, flexible availability.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
