During the 6-month placement, you will be part of the warehouse team where you will gain practical experience in various aspects of a Warehouse Assistant. You will assist with ensuring loading and movement of stock, goods in and out. You will learn how to sort materials for orders, identifying missing or damaged items to ensure accuracy of deliveries. You will also assist with storing away pallets, preparing and loading pallets for outward delivery. You will be assisting with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Role Description Formal Training : Manual Handling Theory – accredited by CompliPlus Manual Handling Practical – assessed by internally accredited assessor Fire Safety Awareness and Evacuation – accredited by CompliPlus Safety Induction – accredited by CompliPlus Forklift Basic training – – accredited by ABC training VNA Forklift training – assessed by internally accredited assessor Informal Training: Communication Skills Time Management Skills Customer Service Skills Attention to Detail
