Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 DOE

We are a dynamic and innovative company looking for a talented and experienced Warehouse & Logistics Lead This is a fantastic opportunity for growth and learning in a fast-paced and spirited work environment.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Loading and Unloading: Manage the loading and unloading of internal and external vehicles.
  • Stock Organisation: Maintain and organise stock effectively.
  • Receipting Deliveries: Accurately receipt and record deliveries.
  • Order Picking: Pick items against Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Tagging for Shipping: Tag items correctly for shipping.
  • Stock Transfers: Create stock transfers between customer sites.
  • Delivery Notes: Create delivery notes for end-to-end shipping processes.
  • Stock Ordering: Order new stock as per internal customers requests.
  • Stock Control: Organise locations for stock control and manage aged stock.
  • Site Key Holder: Act as a key holder for the site.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop and stores area.
  • Transport Organisation: Arrange transport for external stock movements.
  • Delivery Labels: Create delivery labels for each part or component, including shipping lists.
  • Waste Management: Manage factory waste generated from manufacturing.
  • Documentation Control: Control incoming documentation for certifications of conformity.
  • Pallet Adaptation: Adapt pallets to suit different shipping requirements.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for logistics and shipping movements.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors on site.
  • Fire Drills and Security: Oversee fire drills and manage security cameras.
  • Facility Liaison: Liaise with facility providers and arrange statutory examinations; maintain the upkeep register.
  • Landlord Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for landlord interactions.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Forklift Experience: Proven experience working as a forklift driver.
  • Deadline Management: Demonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Reasonable understanding of web systems and proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Excel, is beneficial.
