Salary up to £35k depending on experienceCALLING ALL WAREHOUSE/LOGISTICS MANAGERS IN THE DUDLEY AREA!The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. This role involves the strategic planning and management of logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will supervise a team of warehouse and logistics personnel, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations
• Oversee the receipt of products from our production facility.
• Oversee storage and despatch of all goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control.
• Manage stock take processes.
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage space for maximum efficiency.
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety processes and procedures.
• Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
• Identify and implement improvements.

Logistics Management:
Plan and manage logistics operations, including transportation and distribution.

• Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation and logistics service providers.
• Coordinate with the production and sales teams, to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Team Management:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate employees.
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational demands.
• Encourage a productive and cooperative team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse and logistics operations.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, costs, and issues.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Collaborate with the H&S Manager to ensure adherence to processes, procedures and legislation.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure adherence to processes, procedures, ISO9001 2015 compliance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and receipts.
• Handle customs documentation and procedures for international shipments.
• Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Customer Service:

• Work closely with sales teams to meet customer requirements.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and issues related to logistics and warehousing.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and effective logistics operations.
