Employee discounts.RecruitmentPlus are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK mail order company who are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse team.This role will suit a Warehouse Manager or those with strong leadership experience who enjoy a dynamic environment and can lead the team to manage warehouse operations while ensuring efficiency, safety and accuracy.Requirements:Proven experience in warehouse / supply chain management or a similar role with strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing and shipping.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and H&S standards.Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize discrepancies and losses.Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate warehouse staff.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.Manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with, carriers and customer.Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment, addressing any issues or delays promptly.Enforce health and safety policies, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to streamline operations and track performance.Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.If you have the relevant qualifications and experience and are interested in this position, please apply now and Ciara who is based in our Northeast office will be in contact if you are suitable.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
