Based in New Barn Farm, Forest road, Huncote, Leicestershire. We sell thousands of items an hour and our repeat customer base comes back to us time and time again for our renowned quality products!We’re looking for a driven, people-focused Team Manager to lead our Warehouse Operative in delivering high operational standards, maintaining safety compliance, and building a motivated, performance-driven culture.You’ll be hands-on in the day-to-day running of key operational areas and play a central role in team development, risk management, and continuous improvement. Flexibility, strong leadership, and a commitment to fairness are key.

  • Lead and motivate a warehouse team to achieve performance targets.
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and enforced.
  • Manage daily workflows, priorities, and shift operations in your area.
  • Set KPIs with the Home Product Technical team and ensure they’re met.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a positive culture built on fun, fairness, and recognition.
  • Conduct floor walks, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
  • Ensure team briefings, bonus tracking, and admin tasks are completed accurately.
  • Support peak periods across other operational departments.
  • Handle team HR matters including absence monitoring, return to work interviews, inductions, and disciplinary procedures.

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operations environment
  • MHE Qualification
  • 2+ years previous MHE experience
  • Proven experience leading and coaching teams
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work calmly and lead by example in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong sense of ownership, fairness, and accountability

Desirable

  • Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH)
  • Project management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
