Join AGL’s Team as a Site Supervisor – Macarthur Wind Farm

Are you ready for an exciting leadership role at one of Australia’s premier wind farms? AGL is looking for a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor for our Macarthur Wind Farm, Victoria. With 140 x 3 MW turbines, sitting about 16 kilometres east of Macarthur, between Hamilton and Warnambool in south western Victoria.

It spans about 5,500 hectares of freehold agricultural land, it crosses three properties that are predominately used for sheep and cattle grazing.

Your Role:

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of AGL’s wind farm. You’ll provide leadership, mentoring, and expert tactical decision-making, ensuring the Macarthur wind farm meets operational standards. This is the chance for you to make a real difference. This role will require someone who is not afraid to build a business from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead safety, health, and environmental care through active leadership.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Site Technicians, supporting their training and development.
• Lead site coordination activities, including rostering, training plans, and scheduling.
• Participate in planning major outages and projects with the support of AGL’s maintenance support functions.

About You:

• Extensive experience in leadership and supervision of industrial sites (operational & maintenance supervision would be ideal but not necessary).
• Experience in continuous improvement, process, and procedural enhancement and creation.
• Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification and/or qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training, working at heights safety, HV certification, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, and first aid are advantageous.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Willingness to relocate to Victoria.
