Today AmTrust International underwrites over $2.5bn of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 people in 14 countries.We are currently looking for a Wording Specialist to join our team based out of either our Dublin, Nottingham or London office.As part of the wordings and wider operational team this role is to advise, manage and support policy wording and the development of other customer literature across all lines of business having particular regard to the requirements under the Consumer Duty.Essential role functions include but are not limited to:
- To provide advice and support to underwriters and other management in relation to the drafting and design of Customer Documentation.
- To work with Underwriters and Conduct Team to ensure the timely completion of annual reviews for deals and products.
- To assist in the development and maintenance of template wordings/clauses from which individual Customer Documentation can be drafted or updated.
To be successful in this role you will need to have strong organisational skills and be an effective communicator – both written and verbal, Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in working closely with colleagues from across various areas of the business is a must.. Knowledge of the Insurance or financial services market is necessary as is a good working knowledge of policy wording – either as a wording specialist, underwriter, or insurance legal professional.
