THE BUSINESSWestray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit a Workshop Mechanical Engineer to join our client.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a global reputation. • You will build/assemble all mechanical components on bespoke vehicles
• You will experience in pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
• You will have both TIG and MIG welding skills
• You must have basic fabrications skills for this role
• You will be able to interpret engineering data such drawings and schematics

THE PERSON

• You need to have a driving licence and your own transport
• You will the ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveting etc…)
• You may have experience with vehicle building (ideally HGV)
• Experience with refuelling vehicles is beneficial but not essential
• This role would suit candidates from a plant engineering background, ex-forces, HGV or similar
• You will need to undertake a medical and confined space training for this role
