  • Researching, experimenting, and benchmarking state-of-the-art NLP and LLMs techniques and frameworks
  • Developing, testing, and deploying scalable and robust NLP, LLMs and other AI pipelines and systems using cloud computing platforms, such as Azure and AWS
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business needs and deliver high-quality AI solutions
  • Maintaining and adhering to Aon’s AIOps framework, driving the adoption and use of consistent AI design patterns
  • Documenting and presenting the results and insights of your work to technical and non-technical audiences

How this opportunity is differentWe have an opportunity for an AI Engineer who can design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) solutions for the financial services and insurance industry. You will be working with a team of experts in AI, data science, and software engineering to create innovative applications that leverage the latest advances in NLP and LLMs, such as GPT-4, Claude, Huggingface, LLaMA, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pinecone, and more.This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team of technical professionals where you will work in close proximity to senior decision makers, progressing your career in a forward-thinking, innovative centre of excellence.Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • A master’s or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in NLP and LLMs, with a proven track record of contributions to large AI domain software and data engineering projects relevant to the financial services and insurance industry
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common NLP and LLMs libraries and frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, SpaCy, NLTK, etc.
  • Experience building industry-grade LLM technologies and Gen AI architecture, leveraging state of the art services like DSPy, and building and maintaining Compound AI systems
  • Good knowledge of cloud computing environments, such as Azure and AWS, and experience in deploying and managing AI applications on the cloud
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AI services desirable
  • A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest research and trends in AI
