Business Analyst in West Des Moines, Iowa

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. As a Business Analyst, you will take on the crucial role of maintaining meticulous documentation, facilitating effective communication between various business groups and stakeholders, and utilizing your BA skills to enhance our operations. You will be part of an industry where precision and relationship building are paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize documentation with a high level of detail

• Clearly capture and convey instructions to multiple business groups and stakeholders

• Utilize your business analysis skills and familiarity with Gherkin format to improve processes

• Engage in effective written and verbal communication, including group interactions

• Utilize Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook to support your work

• Identify and resolve issues promptly and cooperatively with employees, customers, and other third parties

• Gain experience with JIRA or similar work management tools

• Read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, and instructions with precision

• Apply mathematical concepts to practical situations and perform accurate calculations

• Write routine reports and correspondence as part of your daily tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Proven ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents

• Experience in Claim Administration is a must

• Familiarity with JIRA for project management

• Demonstrated skills in Requirements Gathering and conducting Requirements Gathering Sessions

• Solid understanding of Business Analysis processes and strategies
