This is a permanent hybrid role for a Financial Accountant based in Galway. A fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified/ 2 years post qualification accountant looking to develop their career with a well-established and successful organisation. This position provides broad exposure and high visibility across departments and functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Produce month end accounts and oversee daily banking operations.
- Maintenance of financial records.
- Communication and liaison with clients and other team members to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction.
- Preparation of various reports and reconciliations and VAT.
- Various daily and monthly administration duties & project work.
- Drive process improvements in nominal ledger and CRM system.
- Working collectively as a team.
Job requirements and experience
- Degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years post qualification experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work well in a collaborative environment.
