Following a comprehensive review of our Global Strategy, we have identified our priorities for a robust and focused portfolio for existing and new European markets. The European regulatory environment has become increasingly complex, but with complexity comes opportunity. Our ability to develop regulatory strategies will be pivotal for both pipeline opportunities and for the maintenance of existing products through the Annexe 1 Renewal process.Are you ready to innovate?   • Management of a portfolio of plant protection products
  • Preparation, review and approval of regulatory submissions.
  • For your portfolio of products, you will:
  • Develop the regulatory strategy to support registration and/or renewal.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business and in external companies (e.g. task forces) to identify data requirements for product registration/renewal.
  • Manage project costs and timelines to ensure delivery on time, within budget.
  • Report on project progress.
  • Monitor the progress of the evaluation and ensure all regulatory queries are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Be subject matter expert (SME) on the legislation and guidelines in the territory which you are assigned to work in.
  • Embrace the culture of Life Scientific in building strong partnerships inside the business as well as with regulatory authorities, consultants, CROs and test facilities.
  • Mentor junior members of the regulatory team.

What we expect

  • Excellent academic record in a relevant scientific subject. A degree is essential, with a masters or PhD being an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the registration of plant protection products in the EU.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, in meeting strict timelines.
  • Ability to present clear and concise written arguments to support a specific regulatory or scientific position on a topic.
  • Perform tasks in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proactively seek to add value to processes, both existing and new
  • Proficiency in all the normal tech tools eg. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Keen interest in AI advantageous!
  • Written and spoken English must be of a very high standard (C2 on the CEFR).
  • Proficiency in an EU language (French) would be an advantage.
